A hearty breakfast

At Stratton Gardens we are proud to source much of our food from Cornish farms using locally grown or homemade produce wherever we can. Our menu is varied, and we offer a full Cornish breakfast or some lighter and vegetarian options. There is always a range of homemade gluten-free cereals: muesli or granola which are served with fresh fruit or natural yoghurt with honey.
We make all our own bread, pastries and preserves.

Local restaurants

Bude has a varied selection of excellent pubs and restaurants, but there are also some lovely village pubs offering great food a little further afield.   The closest pub to us is the historic Tree Inn in Stratton, a couple of minutes walk down the hill from Stratton Gardens. Good homecooked food is available at the Kings Arms in Stratton and the New Inn at Kilkhampton.

Beautiful North Cornwall

Located just minutes from the coast, there are plenty of coastal walks, lovely little fishing villages and beautiful sandy beaches to enjoy. We are ideally situated for day trips by car to almost anywhere in Devon and Cornwall. Bude is a lively attractive town full of character and interesting shops with Boscastle, Padstow and Port Isaac all within easy reach. Excellent surfing, surf lessons, horse riding, bike hire and bike trails are all available locally.
